Fermented Rice
Tradition · Taste · Wellness
Our food celebrates the wisdom of traditional Tamil kitchens. From naturally fermented rice kanji and heritage rice varieties to clay-pot gravies and handmade thokku, every dish is inspired by food that has been passed down through generations.
Simple ingredients, traditional preparation and authentic flavours come together to create food that feels familiar, nourishing and deeply connected to our roots.
We specialise in traditional fermented rice kanji — rice soaked and left to ferment naturally overnight, then served warm. Cooling, probiotic-rich and quietly satisfying, it is the everyday food of Tamil homes.
We treat rice as the heart of the meal, not a side. Each variety below is a landrace grown in Tamil Nadu, chosen for its flavour, fibre and place in our food history.
